Three new faces of BNP



In the eleventh parliamentary elections, the BNP candidate has been elected to six seats in Naogaon. Of these, new faces have been nominated for three seats. The other three candidates have been named as former ministers and former two MPs.

In the 1991-1996, 2001 and 2008, Naogaon-1 (Niyamatpur, Porsha and Sapahar) contestants, the party's central committee member Chalik Chowdhury contested as a candidate for the election. He won in 1996 and in 2001. Shalik Chowdhury submitted nomination form as party candidate this year. However, Zilla BNP vice-president Mostafizur Rahman was nominated as the final candidate of the party. Masore Rana, former BNP secretary general of Porosh upazila, submitted the nomination papers as the candidate of the BNP.

If you want to know, Mostafizur Rahman said in the first light, 'I would like to sincerely thank the members of the parliamentary nomination board of the party for my belief in me. I want to give this seat to the party chairperson Khaleda Zia, who won by huge margin. '

In the Naogaon-5 (Sadar) constituency, he was elected by the BNP candidate in 1991 and 1996 and won the election by Shamsuddin Chowdhury (late). However, he was defeated by Awami League candidate late Abdul Jalil in 2001. Abdul Jalil is the candidate of the Awami League party nine times in total. Five of these were won. In 2008, BNP chairperson's adviser Lt. Colonel (retd) Abdul Latif Khan was the party candidate. He was defeated by Abdul Jalil. Latif Khan submitted nomination form as candidate of BNP. However, he was not nominated as the final candidate of the party. District BNP secretary general Jahidul Islam has been nominated by the general secretary Jahidul Islam. He is the first time to become a candidate.

Jahidul Islam said, "A large part of the country is the new generation voter. New voters always like our young and clear image candidates. If I choose, I want to create a new generation of terrorism and a drug-free society. I'm 100 percent hopeful of winning the vote.

 Parvez Arefin Siddiqui, son of former deputy speaker Akhtar Hamid Siddiqui, got the final nomination of Naogaon-3 (Mahadevpur and Badlagachhi) constituencies. He is also a new face as a candidate. District BNP member Rabiul Alam submitted more nomination papers as the candidate of BNP in this constituency.

Parvez Arefin Siddiqui said, "The nomination board has given me confidence as a young candidate, I want to reward it by winning the election."

In the other three seats, the BNP has reassured the elders. Meanwhile, former MP Shamsuzzoha Khan received the final nomination of Naogaon-2 (Patnitala and Dhamirhat) constituency. In addition to this, BNP candidate Khawaja Nazibullah Chowdhury submitted the nomination papers as BNP candidate.

Former MP Shamsul Alam Pramanik received the BNP nomination for Naogaon-4 (Manda) seat. In addition to him, BNP nominated a nomination papers as a candidate for the election, BNP vice-president Ekramul Bari and BNP's central executive committee member Abdul Matin submitted a nomination papers.

Naogaon-6 (Raninagar and Atrai) got the nomination of BNP's former Housing and Public Works Minister Alamgir Kabir.
