On Friday evening, he said this when 307 senior retired government officials came to meet the Prime Minister at Ganobhaban. These officials expressed their solidarity with the Awami League and pledged to work for the victory of power for independence in the forthcoming national elections.

Referring to his government's work for the welfare of the people, the Prime Minister said, "We will be in power if the people are happy by us, or not." Referring to the election in 2001, the Awami League president said, "We lost the number of votes in the election. Despite many hurdles, we got more votes. But we have been given less seats. '


In this context, Sheikh Hasina said that after coming to power in 2009, she received a document regarding the results of the 2001 election in the Prime Minister's Office.
He said, 'Some seats will be given to us and no seats will be given, it was identified in red, yellow, green and blue. This shows how the election was staged in that year.

Sheikh Hasina said if the Awami League does not come to power, ongoing development activities will not be finished. 'Anti-liberation forces will not end these works. Because they do not trust the country's independence. '

The Prime Minister said, those who do not want the progress of the country and the people are good, why would they do it? 'But we want to change the fate of the people. For this, the continuity of the government is absolutely essential. '


The Prime Minister said her government wants to establish Bangladesh as a developed and prosperous country by 2041 in South Asia.


Sheikh Hasina said, "We have planned to celebrate our centennial in 2071 and adopted the Delta Plan-200. We can not survive that day, but we want to leave a suitable plan for future generations. "

The Prime Minister called upon the former government employees, who believe in the spirit of the Liberation War, to raise their government's development activities in front of the people.


Sheikh Hasina said, "It will not work only for the people; People will have to remind people of this work repeatedly.

Sheikh Hasina also mentioned about torture and torture of BNP-Jamaat on the people, especially after the 2001 election, torture and torture on Awami League leaders and workers.


Sheikh Hasina said, at that time thousands of Awami League leaders and activists were victims of the atrocities of BNP-Jamaat all over the country.


The Prime Minister said six-year-old children were also not spared from their brutality. At that time BNP-Jamaat had dismissed a few government officials from the job. The people still do not forget that dark days of the country.


Terming the plight of the government servants at that time as heartbreaking, the Prime Minister said her government has never acted as a vengeful or malicious person against government officials.


The Prime Minister said, 'Because, I think government servants are government officials and they have done their duties. But it is important to me that I have worked with skill and sincerity in the responsibility. '
