Judges should be more active in the investigation committee: CEC



The Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda said that the Election Commission (EC) has constituted an election committee in every district to coordinate with the judges, directing the appointment of the full power of the judges of the Electoral Inquiry Committee to prevent the election of the upcoming eleven parliamentary elections. Those who have been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting judicial process and conducting judicial proceedings. That responsibility must be kept neatly. For this the judges have to be more active.

He gave this direction on Wednesday in the training program of members of Electoral Inquiry Committee in the Election Commission building.

The CEC said, the judges of the investigation committee will have to use full force in the field of election. Any candidate will have to take action during the complaint. Meanwhile, the Commission has started complaining of violating the Code of Criminal Procedure. In the field level, the investigation committee is silent.

The CEC told the judges that judges of the investigation committee will be able to perform their respective duties by being visible. We get hundreds of complaints every day. But these allegations are not coming to us. Because you are there. We will send the complaints to you. But it was necessary, the charges will go directly to you, but it does not go.

He also said, you have to be visibol (visible). That does not mean that it is yet but the reality is that it is This is because people are not aware of such a big responsibility you have. Only when you will become vibhant; Be visible.

KM Nurul Huda said, "When you get acquainted with your work, people will trust you, when you recognize them, when your committee recognizes them - since then you will have a responsibility. There will not be hundreds of complaints in the Election Commission in Dhaka. Since the formation of Electoral Inquiry Committee on November 25, there was no hopeful inquiry.

The CEC said, we wanted to do 122 investigations even though one would have done. He was expecting us. But not 100, and 22 did not happen. Because, you have not been able to prepare for the preparation till now.

He also said, you will listen to people's complaints by following your duties properly; Take time If the complaint does not come to Dhaka, the solution will be settled in the area.

Nurul Huda said, "Your duty will be proactive in fulfilling the responsibility you have been given." You have to tell people you are.
