The 3-level Security Table for peaceful voting



The Election Commission (EC) has organized a three-level security table to hold peaceful polls in the 11th parliamentary elections. According to the plan, a separate number of law enforcers will be deployed for the protection of common areas, metropolitan areas and polling stations in the coastal, remote and mountainous areas, considering geographical location.

There are 14 people, including one policeman, in the polling station of the common area, 15 people, including three policemen at the polling station in the metropolitan area, and the Planning Commission to deploy 14 law enforcement personnel, including two policemen in remote and coastal polling stations. This is the first time that rural police members are being recruited in the polling stations.

Army and Navy personnel will remain outside the polling station as a striking force. Members of RAB, BGB, Coast Guard and Armed Police Battalion will be patrolled as mobile and striking force. They can not enter the polling booth or vote counting room. However, if the returning or presiding officer wants, the striking and mobile team members will enter the voting center.

Besides, there will be more than 1500 judicial and executive magistrates in the field to maintain law and order situation and implement the code of conduct.
