Awami League president Sheikh Hasina has said 'special request' to withdraw their candidacy for the eleventh parliamentary elections, who have become independent candidates in different segments. In a letter to the rebel candidates in the party, he said, 'I will take all efforts to win the grand alliance by withdrawing your candidature for the grand alliance candidate's candidature for the sake of holding my special request, united elections. On Saturday noon, Awami League office secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap sent a notification in the media. In the notification, a letter has been signed by Sheikh Hasina, the party's president.

Those candidates who go out of the party's decision, they are identified as 'rebel' candidates for political parties.

In the letter, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina told the party's 'rebel' candidates that the elections of the 11th parliamentary elections are very important for establishing sustainable democratic governance system by protecting the nation and the nation from the violent clutches of BNP Jamaat. There were about 80 Awami League rebel candidates in this year's election. Some people have been dropped in the scrutiny of Election Commission. Besides, some have withdrawn the nomination papers. The Prime Minister gave the letter to all the people, requesting them to withdraw their nomination.
