Instead, BNP has given the final nomination of Jamaat Secretary Motiur Rahman to Jhenaidah-3 (Maheshpur-Kotchandpur) constituency in the eleventh parliamentary elections.

Monir Khan resigned from the BNP protesting the decision. The singer, who won the National Film Award, confirmed this today (Sunday).

The artist and leader who has served as the co-editor of BNP's central cultural affairs for a long time said, "I have come to politics without all of its interests, I have come to politics. He further said, 'I was given nomination. I was campaigning for election campaign in the area with leaders and activists of the area. But at the last moment, I was removed. It can not be accepted in any way. '

He said, 'We came to politics with art critics with a lot of criticism. If the team does not get proper evaluation then why will it be? I thought this decision was taken.

He told a press conference at the National Press Club at 5pm this afternoon to give details. He said that he has decided to resign from the BNP due to various reasons including not getting nomination and party disorder.
