How many seats have the allies of the alliance?



Awami League, the largest party of the alliance, has completed the allocation of seats among the alliance partners. Awami League has kept 240 seats for themselves. On Friday, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader briefed reporters about the distribution of seats among the grand alliance partners in the Awami League office in Dhanmondi.

Of the remaining 60 constituencies, five were given to the Workers Party, Jasd (Inu) 3, Jasad (Ambia) 1, Tariqat federation 2, Jatiya Party (JP) 2 seats. The Awami League has left 40 to 42 seats for the Jatiya Party, one of the main allies of the alliance.

Outside, the Grand Alliance has given 3 seats to the United Front. The remaining 2-4 seats are still pending, it will be resolved tonight.

Awami League general secretary said, Awami League kept their candidates in 240 seats. The remaining 60 seats are being excluded from 14 parties and its allies. If allied parties think of their own symbol, they will compete in other seats, but they can do it. Tonight the nomination of single candidate for the 300 seats will be given to the party president. He'll make it final.

Today's final nomination papers are being given from Awami League's party office. Meanwhile, Syed Ashraful Islam (Kishoreganj-1), Shafiqul Islam (Chandpur -4), Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir (Chandpur-1), A S Ma Firoz (Patuakhali-2), Shirin Sharmin (Rangpur-6) has been given the nomination papers.
