Ershad went to Singapore

Former president and Jatiya Party chairman Hussein Muhammad Ershad has left Dhaka for treatment. He left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday at 11pm with the SQ-447. His personal secretary and party's presidium member Major (retd) Khaled Akhter confirmed the matter.

Jatiya Party presidium member Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu and Assistant Personal Officer (APS) are going as his visitor. Manzurul Islam Jatiya Party general secretary Mashiur Rahman Rangaon was present at the airport to send him off.

Earlier, Ershad was admitted to the Combined Military Hospital of Dhaka after being nominated for nomination, final nomination, etc., among the important election process.

Ershad has been contesting for the 11th general elections in Dhaka-17 and Rangpur-3 constituency. After the treatment, Hussein Muhammad Ershad is expected to return home soon.

Jatiya Party is in the grand alliance with Awami League in the elections. 29 candidates of Jatiya Party will participate in the election as the candidate of the alliance. Outside, Jatiya Party candidates will contest in 132 seats by the party.
