BNP will surrender in the elections: Menon



Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon said BNP will surrender in the polls. The leaders of the BNP leaders will be finished in the election.

Workers Party president Menon of the Grand Alliance candidate for Dhaka-8 constituency in the 11th parliamentary election, Menon. He said this at a discussion meeting on the occasion of Victory Day at Paltan Community Center in the capital on Monday. Motijheel, Shahjahanpur, Shahbagh, Ramna thana Awami League organized the meeting.

Describing his activities as an MP in the Dhaka-8 constituency, Menon also said, "People of Dhaka-8 constituency have been extortion, terrorism free environment in the last 10 years. Malibag, 85 percent of Shantinagar road was bad. Now we repair almost 90 percent of its roads. The entire area could be swamped in just one hour of rain. People could not move. We have improved the situation.

Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Mohammad Saeed Khokon was present as the chief guest, Mashiur Awami League South President Haji Abul Hasnat, General Secretary Shah Alam Murad, Vice President Abul Bashar and others were present as special guests.
