9 women will fight for BNP

Among the candidates nominated in the BNP's 206 constituency, only 9 are women. On Friday, BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam announced this candidate list.

The nine women candidates of the BNP are: Rita Rahman in Rangpur-3 constituency, Natore-1 Kamrunnahar, Natore-2 Sabina Yasiman photo, Sirajganj-1, Rumana Morshed Kanak Chapa, Jhalokati-2, Ziba Amin Khan.

Sherpur-1 Dr. Hasina Ahmed has been nominated for Sansila Jaberin, Netrokona-4 constituency Tahmina Zaman, Faridpur-Shama Obaid and Cox's Bazar-1 constituencies.

BNP's main rival, 16 Awami League's ruling Awami League, is contesting this year's election.
